Add in New shared mailbox to your email on web based Outlook 

 

Sign into outlook by going to: outlook.office.com 

 

Sign in with your credentials: 

 

  

 

Enter your password: 

  

 

 

 

If you trust this computer and will accessing the email frequently, say yes. 

If the computer is at an internet café or someone else’s machine, say no. 

  

 

This will open up your emails in the web outlook page

 

 

 

In the top right hand corner, click on your initials 

 

  

 

The click on “open another mailbox” 

 

  

 

In the middle of the window the following dialog box will appear: 

 

 

Enter the name of the mailbox that you have been given permissions toIf you do not have permissions, you will not be able to access the mailbox. 

 

Mailboxes with similar names will appear in the list as you typeMake sure you select the correct one. 

 

 

 

 

Once you have selected the correct one, click on “Open” 

 

 

 

 

If you have permissions the mail box will open and you can access the information as required.
